Payment Terms
Payment terms:
1. Projects of £8,000 and under (inc. VAT) are invoiced upon completion.
2. Invoice terms are 7 days from invoice sent.
3. Projects in excess of £8,000 (inc. VAT) are contracted, and will require a 10% deposit and 40% stage payment. Details of any deposit & stage payment will be evident on the contract.
4. Payment can be made via bank transfer, UK debit and credit card (via telephone or payment link on invoices) or cheque. We do not accept AMEX or commercial credit/debit cards.
5. Works carried out, and materials used on site remain the property of Barris Roofing Ltd, until payment is received in full.
6. Gift cards can be redeemed via our payment provider Square, and can be redeemed at check-out or card payment by telephone. Gift cards are not redeemable for bank transfers, cheque payments or cash payments.
Project Terms
1. We have only allowed, unless specifically stated otherwise in our quote above, to lay new flat roof coverings to existing falls.
2. We may require the free use of 'the clients' water and power supply, but only for reasons essential to the works described.
3. We have only allowed, unless specifically stated otherwise in our quote above, to remove 1xNo. roof covering when renewing a flat roof (ie. 20mm asphalt / 3 layer felt system / lead covering / zinc covering).
4. We cannot guarantee that water pooling will not still occur on the roof. Evenm with fall alteration, some pooling may still occur due to the structural properties of the building.
5. Only items specifically detailed above are covered by this quote.
6. For renewal works (ie. flat roof renewal or pitched roof renewal), we cannot be held responsible for minor damages caused to the plastering internally from unavoidable vibrations caused during the works (typically nail heads showing through plastering). These can often be filled with ease, but we shall accept no responsibility for repairing these issues, should they arise.
7. Water pooling on professionally laid 3 layer felt systems, guttering, GRP systems or lead installations will have no adverse effect on the materials.
Pay in 4 using ClearPay
For invoices of a value of £1 - £2,000, you can use ClearPay to spread the cost of your invoice over 4 installments. To do this, you need to download the ClearPay app using the relevant button below.
Once you have installed the app & set up your ClearPay account, you can use ClearPay at checkout. Currently, this facility is restricted to projects of a total value of £2,000 (inc VAT) and must be processed in-person using our mobile card payment terminal.
